Recently built penthouse with sea view which was totally empty. The apartment needed to be decorated for the sales pictures and to be possibly used as a weekly rental apartment. The budget was medium size and time line tight. At the moment, most furniture are to be ordered and delivery times very long which made the task harder. Also a fact, that this was a penthouse on the 10th floor and the lift very small (like it tends to be in new constructions in this area), made choices very limited. Most double beds had too large,heavy headboards and the structures were in one piece.
I installed very flat downlights to all over the apartment with opal glass so that they do not poke the eye and remain linear.
The living room had a whole glass window wall. I did not want high furniture to blog the view. As there was limited cuppord space in general, I chose long and low cabinets into the living area in the same style as the open kitchen units.
Color palet was neutral scandinavian shades of brown, sand, water and green.
